Warm air at the vents, ice on the lines, or a breaker that keeps tripping isn't a wait-it-out problem when Wheeler, IN temperatures climb. We check charge, compressor amp draw, and coil condition before recommending a fix before any part gets quoted.
Topping off refrigerant without ever finding the leak is one of the most common ways Wheeler homeowners get overcharged. Our process is pressure readings, spec comparison, and electronic leak detection, because a properly repaired leak outlasts three top-offs.
What every AC visit includes.
Every tech handling refrigerant carries current federal certification — a legal requirement we take seriously.
No-cool situations jump the schedule, most Wheeler requests seen same-day in peak season, even during the busiest stretch of summer.
Capacitor or compressor, the price you approve is the price on the invoice before work starts.
Real detection equipment finds the source, not just a temporary patch.
The repairs behind most no-cool calls.
We locate, repair, and recharge to spec — not just refilled and sent on its way.
A compressor that hums without starting or pulls high amps gets tested at the windings and start capacitor before we recommend replacement.
We find why the coil froze, not just defrost it and hope.
A failing capacitor is a common cause of a dead condenser, and it's usually a same-visit fix once confirmed.
A coil caked in debris can't reject heat properly, which spikes head pressure and stresses the compressor, so we clean and inspect during the visit.
A blown fuse or tripped disconnect can present exactly like a dead compressor, so we rule these out first to avoid an unnecessary replacement.
Four steps to cold air again.
Tell us what the system is doing and we'll get a tech moving.
Truck arrives stocked with refrigerant, gauges, and common parts within your window.
Pressures and amp draws get measured before anything gets added, then quote a flat rate.
Most repairs finish same visit, covered by our warranty, backed in writing.
